Robotisering: technisch mogelijk, maar ook rendabel?
Robots kunnen steeds meer taken uitvoeren in productie en logistiek. Toch betekent technische haalbaarheid niet automatisch dat een investering rendabel is. Dat onderscheid staat centraal in onderzoek dat Anthropic op 30 september 2026 publiceerde.
Volgens het onderzoek kunnen robots veel fysieke taken uitvoeren, vaak binnen een speciaal ingerichte of gecontroleerde omgeving. De analyse gebruikt Amerikaanse arbeidsgegevens en deels AI-schattingen. De uitkomsten zijn daarom geen directe maatstaf voor een Nederlands magazijn of productiebedrijf.
Het hele proces bepaalt het resultaat
Een robot die sneller verpakt, verhoogt niet vanzelf de totale productie. Als de aanvoer onvoldoende is of de afvoer vastloopt, verschuift het knelpunt. Ook productvariatie, omsteltijden, storingen en menselijke ondersteuning beïnvloeden het resultaat.
Daarnaast vraagt automatisering om betrouwbare artikel- en voorraadgegevens en een goede aansluiting
